I want to believe the truth about God so that I C A N become the person I AM created to be.

Psalm 9:10
“Those who know your name trust in you, for you, Lord, have never forsaken those who seek you.”

Psalm 28:6-7
“Praise be to the LORD, for he has heard my cry for mercy. The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him.”

Psalm 110:4
“The Lord has sworn and will not change his mind…”

Prayer

Father,

You are a God of Your Word. You are never trying to trick or fool me, but You are honest and piercingly true. I declare that You are completely worthy of all of my trust. I refuse to manipulate circumstances in my life because I doubt Your ability to order things best. I refuse to let worry envelope my mind and thoughts. I choose this day to allow Your trustworthiness to seep into my heart and change my behaviour. I will show that I trust You by relinquishing control of all aspects of my life to You – trusting You fully to lay out my future as You see best.
