God Sees You
From the moment you are aware God sees you, you are supernaturally empowered to FLOURISH. He can show you in a million ways that you have His full attention – some big, some subtle. The awareness that the God of the Universe sees you, is power for any soul to soar above difficulties, uncertainties and frustrations.
To help us better understand this, God gave us the story in the Bible of Hagar. She was wandering in the desert with her hungry little boy, desperate for God’s help. In one moment, an Angel of the Lord shows her that He sees her and He knows her situation. He then speaks hope to her parched soul. After God encourages her with the promise that He will grow a great nation through her son, Hagar calls God El Roi, God who sees.
“She [Hagar] gave this name to the LORD who spoke to her:
“You are the God who sees me,” for she said,
“I have now seen the One who sees me.””
Genesis 16:13–14
How is God trying to remind you right now, in your current circumstance, that He sees you? How does this certainty strengthen you with power and peace?
In one moment, God can show you that He sees you, and a whole new world of promise can open before your eyes – not because your circumstances have changed, but because of your vital connection to a God who sees you, knows you, loves you, and fights for you.
Yes, to be connected to Jesus, is to flourish.
