My Primary Prayer for 2019
Heavenly Father, the greatest hope I have for 2019 is to know Your Wisdom. You have hidden me in Jesus and your word says that Jesus is the very wisdom of God. Yes, you call me, your daughter, Wise.
My life is like a garden. I have one plot to tend, and I want to nourish your wisdom there. You say that wisdom is more precious than rubies; nothing else I desire could compare. You say wisdom will protect and guard me. You tell me that I will benefit from becoming wise and that with humility comes wisdom. You say Jesus is the wisdom of God, and that I have been given promises that allow me to share in your Divine Nature. You say: I am wise.
This year, help me spend time focusing on what you say is true. Would you lead me to apply my skills, competencies, knowledge and understanding with divine wisdom to the problems I encounter and the relationships I have? Lead me to daily access your wisdom through my intimate connection to Jesus. This year, help me to cultivate my love relationship with you, so I can discover the fullness of wisdom youāve placed in my hands.
I trust that as I seek first to grow wisdom in my garden plot, you will infuse every area of my life with your power, passion, presence and purposes. I give you my life, I entrust my garden to you, and I commit to explore the depths of Your Wisdom, who is Jesus, above all else.
