A Prayer of Hope

Father,

You are True Hope that cannot be extinguished or diminished.

Hope is the belief that circumstances can improve. When genuine hope is seated in my heart, I am compelled to act based on my hope-filled belief. Hope is the assurance that the world can change. As my hope becomes secure in You, I partner more fully with You to accomplish Your work on Earth.

Hope melts the most stubborn and bitter heart to tears, it creates clear images for the blind and brings a smile to the child that has lost all. Love hopes all things.

To hope is to believe, and to believe is to act.

By the power of the Holy Spirit, as I place my hope-filled anticipation in You alone, I am filled with inspiration and courage to do great works through Christ on Earth. May Your hope overflow in me today to a lost world with transformative force.

Thank you for the hope You give me in this moment and for the greater hope that stretches into the eternal heavenlies, where I know I am going. Thank you God that this hope will never disappoint me.
