Christ-Centered Calendar Planning

About three years ago I took my calendar in a 12-month lump and then added 2nd and 3rd year.
First, I get those dates on there that are absolutely essential. I get them embedded in my mind. Then I will focus on these dates and times. I know what I need to focus on when, and I can plan my life accordingly. This has helped me immensely in the midst of a busy schedule! Spending a few days each year doing whole-life-calendar planning has helped me figure out the daily, semi annual, hourly and even each hour of my day.
I chose to make the conscious decision to allow God to have His hand on my calendar and I pray over that calendar.
When I created it for the first time, I was excited and had so much more peace. For anyone ā whether you are a mom at home, or working in the marketplace, having a calendar with Christ at the center of it is a beautiful thing. He will open up doors with time management that we can turn over to Him. You will always have other people put demands on you. When this happens to me, I go to my prayer room and listen for God. Then I can be confident that He will bring everything together in my life.
Getting serious about calendar planning has made an enormous change in my work life too. I have more client and business focused time and it has made all the difference in the world. I am able to set realistic goals, know where I am heading, know what needs to happen each day and I feel invigorated working towards a project and seeing the pathway to success!
A properly ordered calendar brings success into every part of my life. It takes the panic out of how I am going to get everything done. I had made business plans before, but these never had a holistic approach. My faith life wasnāt included. What the Lord has planned is beyond my imagination and I want Him to be at the forefront of my calendar planning.
Now, the Lord is my business planner, my financial planner, my food planner, my exercise planner, even my free time planner! God wants us to have fun too, and as I am giving my entire calendar over to God, I am living the fullest life I could have imagined!
